We've really gone the distance with our Cavallo Point prints.
Since 2008, our series has graced the guest rooms at Cavallo Point Lodge, an environmentally sustainable resort at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge — and now, as the idiom goes, they've "come full circle" in Spotlight West Marin at the Sausalito Art Center.
The Cavallo Point prints began as a commission. Casual in feel, but the product of long hours —
composing images, sifting through thousands of pounds of plastic we'd collected from Kehoe Beach, photographing our arrangements at Electric Works in San Francisco.
From there, those prints took us around the world, with exhibitions in Hong Kong and Singapore,
and proceeds that funded our African safari.
We complete the circle, as we return to Sausalito, at a site close to where it all began,
with an understanding and appreciation that a long journey brings.
