Marin, Sonoma, and Mendocino Counties and the Leave No Trace organization have launched Cleaner Coast a coordinated campaign to provide visitor education and outreach to reduce the negative visitation impacts in coastal environments and communities across the three counties.

Along with the West Marin Chamber of Commerce they have established an Information Hub in downtown Point Reyes Station in the grand old Grandi Building.

Madeline Nieto Hope, the dynamo coordinator for the effort, is transforming the entry patio and archway into a central feature of the pop-up space.

She envisioned our SEA-SPAN TV in the adjacent alcove that proved to be a perfect fit. Hung above is an art piece by Michael Garlington.

We are pleased to be associated with The Cleaner California Coast-Leave No Trace Initiative in partnership with Marin County Parks, Sonoma County Regional Parks, Sonoma County Tourism, Visit Mendocino, California State Parks, the National Park Service, federally and non-federally recognized tribes, Marin Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Environmental Action Committee of West Marin.
