Since 1999, Plastic Forever is a project by two people to collect plastic debris from one beach, Kehoe Beach in the Point Reyes National Seashore.

My daughter, who is in 8th grade, is doing an in-depth project on Ocean Pollution and Marine Mammals. This website makes it evident that this is a big topic and many are passionately involved. Clean beaches benefit humans immensely also.
